Mohammed “Mo” Aslam named Market Chief Nursing Officer for Piedmont Medical Center

ROCK HILL, S.C. ― Piedmont Medical Center is pleased to announce Mohammed “Mo” Aslam as the new Market Chief Nursing Officer. In this role, Aslam will oversee nursing operations and provide strategic leadership at Piedmont Medical Center Rock Hill and Piedmont Fort Mill.

Aslam comes to Piedmont Medical Center from Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he served as Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Operations. With more than two decades of experience in healthcare leadership and nursing, Aslam has assisted with opening a brand new 70 bed emergency department and implemented new resources to provide high quality care to patients. In his years of nursing, Aslam provided advanced medical care to trauma patients as a trauma nurse and critical care nurse. He also worked as an NICU nurse and transport nurse to care for level three infants. He improved nursing retention and patient satisfaction while in leadership roles like Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. Aslam earned a Master of Business Administration, MBA, with a minor in Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He also earned his BSN from Grand Canyon University.
