Jennifer Scott named Market Assistant Chief Nursing Officer for Piedmont Medical Center

ROCK HILL, S.C. ― Piedmont Medical Center is proud to announce Jennifer Scott as the Market Assistant Chief Nursing Officer for Piedmont Medical Center. Based in Fort Mill, Jennifer will be responsible for nursing units, quality control, and patient safety at both Piedmont Rock Hill and Piedmont Fort Mill. She will also focus on recruitment and retention.

Scott comes to Piedmont Medical Center from Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Florida, a sister facility, where she served as the Administrative Nursing Director. From starting her career as a nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Scott now has more than 30 years of healthcare experience. She has led a wide variety of departments within the hospital, ranging from direct patient care to working hand in hand with management to create a positive outcome for the patient. Scott’s previous roles have included the Director of Emergency Services, Director of Telemetry, and Step Down, both roles covering over a span of five years. She comes to Piedmont with experience overseeing the emergency department, critical care units, and medical surgical units. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Western Governor’s University in Utah.
